Can I keep my existing phone number?
Short answer: no. Simple Downline gives you a brand new texting number as part of setup instead of moving over a number you already have (for example, one from Project Broadcast).
How you get your number
During onboarding you pick your number:
- Enter an area code.
- Simple Downline shows you 30 available numbers.
- Tap one to select it.
That number is yours going forward. Numbers are US-only.
What this means for your old number
Your old number won't carry over, so any texting you did from it stays there. Once you're set up, let your contacts know your new texting number so they know where messages are coming from.
Your contacts still come with you
You won't lose your contacts. We pull your whole current downline straight from Young Living when you log in, so those are already in the app.
We also have an import tool that brings over inactive and prospect contacts from another service like Project Broadcast. Since we already have your current contacts from Young Living, the import is totally optional and just there if you want those extras too.
