Using saved replies

Saved replies are short, reusable answers to the questions you find yourself typing over and over. Build the answer once, then drop it into any conversation from the Inbox with two taps.

Viewing your saved replies

Saved replies list with categories
Saved replies live under More, then Saved Replies. Each one has a short title and the reply text.

Open More, then Saved Replies, to see everything you've saved. Each row shows the title you gave the reply and a preview of the first line so you can scan the list without opening anything. The list has two tabs, Default and Custom, and within each tab the newest replies show first.

Creating a saved reply

New saved reply form with title and message fields
Give the reply a memorable title so you can find it fast from the inbox.

Pick a title that describes the situation, not the message itself ("Shipping question" rather than "Hi yes it ships in 2 days"). Type the body of the reply in the Content field. Tap Save and the new reply joins the list.

Editing a saved reply

Editing an existing saved reply
Tap any saved reply to update its wording. Changes apply on the next use.

Tap a reply in the list to open the editor. The Title and Content fields are both editable, and changes take effect immediately for any future use. To delete a reply, scroll to the bottom of the editor and tap Delete. Deleting doesn't touch any messages you've already sent.

Using one from the inbox

When you're typing a reply in any Inbox conversation, tap the saved-replies button just above the keyboard. The list of replies slides up. Tap one and the reply text drops into your message box exactly as you saved it. You can edit it before you hit send, or send it as-is. You can also stack two replies in one message if you need to answer multiple questions at once.
