Importing contacts during setup

Your Young Living contacts sync separately. During setup, you can also bring in contacts from a previous texting service, such as Project Broadcast, using a CSV file.

Choose whether to import

The Import Contacts screen asks whether you've used another texting service. Choose Yes, import my contacts to open the CSV upload screen. Choose No, skip this step to continue to your Welcome message without uploading a file.

You can import later under More → Import. That later screen has extra options for reviewing CSV contacts and older Life Steps contacts; see the after-setup guide.

Upload your CSV

1. Export contacts from your previous service as a CSV file and save it where your device can open it.
2. On Upload your contacts CSV, tap the file area and select the CSV.
3. If the file has tags, Map your Tips tag lets you choose one tag that marks contacts who already opted in to Tips. Leave it unselected if none applies.
4. Tap Upload & Import. When the result appears, review the counts for existing contacts updated, new contacts added, and rows skipped because they have no identifier.
5. Tap Next to continue to your Welcome message.

If you change your mind on the CSV screen, tap Skip to continue without importing. The setup import accepts CSV files only.
