Writing your welcome message
Your Welcome text introduces your Simple Downline number and gives your contacts a way to reply. Keep it brief, warm, and recognizable as you.
Choose a starting message during setup
The Welcome Message screen offers New Introduction for people you have not texted before and Existing Team for people who already know you. Pick the closer match and tap Next. This selects a starting message; review and make lasting edits in the Welcome campaign after setup.
Review the campaign
On the final setup screen, tap Review Welcome Text. Find Welcome in Campaigns, open the message, make any changes, and save them. A useful message says who you are, why you are texting from this number, and what kind of messages people can expect. Simple Downline adds the required opt-out wording when the text sends.
Welcome starts off. When the message is ready, return to the campaign list and turn its switch on. It does not send as soon as you finish setup or flip the switch; it goes through the next eligible sending run. An active subscription, an approved texting number, and enough message credits are required. If your business number is still awaiting carrier approval, wait for approval before trying to turn Welcome on.
On newer accounts, Welcome is on the Smart tab while it needs review. It is a one-time campaign and disappears after it finishes. On accounts using the earlier setup, find it under Custom; that Welcome can continue checking for newly eligible members after its first send. In either case, the app skips contacts your account has already welcomed.
